Toys

A toy is anything that can be used to play. Toys, and playing in general, are important when it comes to growing up and learning about the world around us. The young use toys and play to discover their identity, help their bodies grow strong, learn cause and effect, explore relationships, and practice skills they will need as adults. Adults use toys and play to form and strengthen social bonds, teach, remember and reinforce lessons from their youth, discover their identity, exercise their minds and bodies, explore relationships and practice skills.

Toys remind us of who we are and of who we used to be!

Brinquedos

Um brinquedo é qualquer coisa que possa ser usada para brincar. Brinquedos, e brincar em geral, são importantes quando se trata de crescer e aprender sobre o mundo ao nosso redor. Os jovens usam brinquedos e brincam para descobrir mais sobre a sua identidade, ajudar seus corpos a crescerem fortes, aprenderem causa e efeito, explorar relações, e praticar habilidades que precisarão quando adultos. Adultos usam brinquedos e jogam para formar e aumentar laços sociais, ensinar, lembrar e reforçar lições de sua juventude, descobrir sua identidade, exercitar suas mentes e corpos, explorar relações e praticar habilidades.

Brinquedos nos lembram de quem somos e de quem costumávamos ser!

The Human Body

The human body is the entire structure of a human organism, and consists of a head, neck, torso, two arms and two legs. By the time the human reaches adulthood, the body consists of close to 50 trillion cells, the basic unit of life. These cells are organized biologically to eventually form the whole body.

This month we’re teaching our kids about the body, how it works and how to take good care of it!

O corpo humano

O corpo humano é a estrutura inteira de um organismo humano, e consiste de: cabeça, pescoço, torso, dois braços e duas pernas. Quando o ser humano se torna adulto, o corpo consiste de aproximadamente 50 trilhões de células, a unidade básica da vida. Estas células são biologicamente organizadas para formar o corpo em sua totalidade.

Este mês, vamos ensinar nossos alunos sobre o corpo, como ele funciona e como podemos cuidar dele!
